Bridal Beauty Tips: Perfect Nail Polish for the Big Day

by jaime on June 15, 2012

Hopefully for you, a well-done nail look isn’t something you’re planning on overlooking. But if you haven’t taken much time to consider the style right for you, here are some polishes that I really, REALLY love for the big day – ranging from dark to demure, and flashy to subtle.

(Oh, and my nails? I’m probably going to use a nude with Essie Anniversary Gala over top!)

Essie colors from Left to Right: Borrowed and Blue, A Crewed Interest, Ballet Slippers (the classic!), French Affair, To Buy or Bot to Buy and Sand Tropez.

Zoya colors from Left to Right: Wednesday, Amanda and Kelly

And for a few fun design ideas, I love what Alyssa at Beauty Debutante has done! First is the sparkly ring finger:

Check out her nail polish tutorial on the site – she used Zoya Farah here! And another one I love is the gold and coral style:

How will you be doing your nails for the wedding – or how did you get them done?

Definitely going to be doing something other than a neutral or nude shade. It will complement my colors and probably include a special ring finger design or sparkle!

I’m doing a French manicure with a red and silver flower detail on each ring finger. Love the sparkle but not so trendy that I’ll hate it in 10 years!

I wore Essie “Happily Ever After” on my nails. It’s sheer and neutral, with a little iridescent shimmer. :)

Plus… I mean, the name. Come on. 😉
