Wedding Inspiration by Color: Red Weddings

by jaime on August 29, 2012

Red weddings! I love the idea of being surrounded by such a sexy, romantic color – and red can be used in so many different ways!

Some tips for those of you attending a red wedding:

– As I said in the teal wedding inspiration, I’d recommend that you avoid wearing red. Try complimentary colors – a gray dress like this one from Target or this navy peplum dress from Topshop!

– For gorgeous red-themed gifts, try this red teapot from Anthropologie or (something that I personally own!), a cooking utensil kit from Kohl’s.

Brides who are having a red wedding:

– Color-coordinate your looks! Try this red strapless dress from BCBG for your bachelorette party (with these gorgeous Kendra Scott earrings!) and this Madewell Dreamdot Dress for your Bridal Shower!

– Red looks really good with both gold or silver, so you have options for both jewelry and decor. Try using some complimentary chiffon for ceiling drapery in a silver sheer and red sheer.

Love,
Jaime

I wore an actual red wedding dress! :-) I never fancied white.
