Wedding Songs for Your Bridesmaids’ Walk Down the Aisle

by jaime on September 26, 2012

We’ve had a flood of requests from brides-to-be who couldn’t figure out any ideas for their bridesmaids’ processional songs. Well, here are nine totally beautiful songs that will work for all kinds of ceremonies, and range from upbeat and cute to slow and romantic, with instrumentals and everything in between.

Enjoy!

Everything – Lifehouse

Marry Me – Train

The Trapeze Swinger – Iron and Wine (great for BIG bridal parties – this song is nine minutes long!)

Passionate Kisses – Mary Chapin Carpenter

Pretty Donna – Collective Soul (a great option for those of you looking to go with an instrumental version!)

I Can’t Wait – Runner Runner

Songbird – Eva Cassidy

Moon River – Henry Mancini

Love Song – The Cure (or 311)

Which song is your favorite? Share your ideas for bridesmaids processional songs in the comments – let me know what you used or what you’re thinking about using!

Don’t miss all of our wedding music posts!

Love,
Jaime

I have loved your wedding music posts! Could you do one for the bridal party entrance at the reception? I would love to know what other people have done!

We’re doing “Say Hey (I Love You)” for the wedding party entrance to the reception. Fun, but not done too often. A really popular one is “Let’s Get Ready to Rumble” :)

I was in my best friend’s wedding and she did “Daughters” by John Mayer for bridesmaids. It was a good pace to walk to. And we entered the reception to “Forever” by Chris Brown.

I am thinking of using Pancello Canon in D for my bridesmaids to walk into and then walk down to Marry Me by Train. Would these two go together?
