Our Save the Date cards are here!

by jaime on November 7, 2012

Now that the chaos has ended, I wanted to share with you my Save the Date postcards that I made myself!

Tools: photo (amazing photography from Julie at Picture Something Blue!) and Photoshop
Printing: Zazzle

Cost for 130 custom postcards: $61!

I’d love to hear your thoughts on these, and what you’re doing for your own Save the Date cards (if you’re doing them at all!).

Love the price for the postcards! I’m definitely checking Zazzle out to see how much our STDs will be!

They always have really great sales, so keep your eyes open!

Julie did my photos too! Love her!

And, I love reading about your wedding. Congrats!

I took a design sample that I liked from http://www.Minted.com and made my own. I uploaded the design to http://www.overnightprints.com and paid $13 for the cards with rounded corners (they had a 60% off sale)+ $8 for shipping.. so, $25 for 100 postcards.

It was easy and I liked how I had more freedom with fonts so I could design my own invites with the same fonts/style. The one difference between zazzle / minted vs overnightprints is the thickness of paper. Zazzle & Minted has heavier paper (17pt cardstock) and overnightprints uses 15pt cardstock.
