Let’s face it. You’re going to look at your wedding photos for the rest of your life. You’re going to show them to all of your friends and family, too, so pretty much, everyone is going to see them. Of course you want to look gorgeous, right? Like, glowing and perfect gorgeous right?? If you answered yes to those questions then keep on a’reading! Here are some tips on how to do your make-up to look utterly amazing in your wedding pictures.
You want to start with a well moisturized, primed face. From your clean slate, start shading the deep parts of your face with bronzer, or a darker brownish blush. In the image above, the areas you should shade are colored pink. Under your cheek bones (you can find this spot by making a fish face and shading the sunken part), along your jaw line, your temples and finally a thin line from your eyebrows to the tip of your nose. After you’ve made the lines on your nose, be sure to blend those well, you want to create the illusion of a sculpted face, not crisp lines.
After the bronzer, brush a highlighter or light concealer on the flat, front facing portions of your face: center of your forehead, bridge of your nose, chin and cupid’s bow above your lip. This is the blue part on the image above. Hilighting is the second most important part of contouring. It creates the the glow that’s going to make you look angelic in those pic.
From there, sweep blush on your cheek bones and the apples of your cheeks. If you smile really big, you’ll find the apples of your cheek. This is demonstrated with purple in the image. Be sure everything is blended well.
Final step – brush a setting powder all over your face, this will keep everything in place
